- Story Text: Tunisia's Dougga archaeological site came alive on Wednesday (August 2) with a captivating fashion show, featuring the work of ten talented Tunisian fashion designers.
The event was held as part of the Dougga International Festival, which aims at celebrating fashion and highlighting the archaeological site's historical significance.
The fashion designers showcased their work on the stage of the site that dates back to the 6th century BC.
It merged modern features with historical and traditional elements making the audience enjoy the mix between the past and present.
The site that used to be a Berber, Punic and Roman settlement once, has now become a place featuring cultural and musical events that attracted hundreds of visitors.
