- Story Text:A warehouse in central Israel is buzzing with activity.
Inside, dozens of volunteers, some in tears, are busy arranging flower bouquets and funeral wreaths.
They will be delivered to the hundreds of mourning families who will be burying their loved ones killed during Saturday's attack by Hamas militants.
Flower exporter Lihi Salpeter Danziger said this was the least she can do to help ease the pain of families.
On a Facebook post, she called on florists and volunteers to help.
Among those who heeded her call was Tali Yehuda who volunteered along with her teen-aged daughter.
“We won’t break. Israel won’t break. Everyone doing everything they can," Yehuda tearfully said.
"I don't know to which grave this will go, but either way doesn't matter," she added.
More than 1,200 Israelis have died in the attack and the number is still expected to rise.
Danziger said there is a shortage of flowers due to high demand so she's hoping that her efforts and those of the volunteers will help ease the problem.
The flowers are donated by growers and are woven into wreaths by the volunteers who work in shifts to accommodate the warehouse's bomb shelter capacity.
More volunteers help out in the distribution to ensure that each wreath gets to its destination.
