  • Story Text:Extreme cold weather hit Russia’s capital, Moscow, with temperatures falling as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius on Tuesday (January 2). Temperatures were expected to fall to as low as minus 22 degrees Celsius on Wednesday evening. According to the Russian met office, the temperatures are around 13 degrees colder than normal for this time of year. The severe cold weather is expected to remain in Russia’s capital until Weekend (January 6).
