- Story Text:Snow fell down on Vancouver on Thursday (January 11) as Canada's west was lashed with an Arctic air blast.
The city's sea lions were delighted by the snow as well as some locals who came out for the occasion. But some traffic snarls were reported as authorities cautioned motorists to take care in the snowy conditions.
The Canadian government has warned locals of an Arctic outflow, with wind chill temperature values as low as minus 20 degrees Celsius (minus four Fahrenheit) and wind gusts up to 60 km/h (37 miles/h).
