  • Story Text:Thousands of Taylor Swift fans lined up for hours on Wednesday (February 21) to buy her merchandise, days ahead of the popstar’s first Sydney concert.
    Some fans showed up over five hours before merchandise stands opened to try and beat the queues which attracted Swifties from all over the world, many with hands full of friendship bracelets to trade.
    Meanwhile, murals of the American singer have popped up on walls across the city, as Swiftie mania sweeps through the country.
    Swift performed her largest ever concert in Melbourne last week, singing to around 96 000 fans each night, three nights in a row.
    Her first Sydney show will kick off on Friday (February 23) night, with over 300 000 people expected over her four sold out shows.
