- Story Text: Leading candidates for EU elections arrived at the European Parliament on Thursday (May 23) to argue their ideas on the future of Europe in a live debate.
Climate, migration, and security are the main issues expected to be tackled.
The debate, ogranised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), is taking place in the run-up to the EU election on June 6-9, when around 370 million voters will head to the polls across the 27 member states.
For the first time, voters from capitals across the EU will directly pose their questions to candidates.
