- Story Text: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron co-chaired a joint Franco-German session on security with a group of ministers from both countries at Schloss Meseberg castle in Gransee on Tuesday (May 28).
The joint meeting marked the end of Macron's three-day stay in Germany, which was the first state visit of a French president to Germany in 24 years.
