- Story Text: England fans watching the European Championship final in a packed bar near Wembley Stadium on Sunday (July 14) suffered the heartbreak of their side conceding a late winner to Spain.
A party atmosphere before the start of the game was replaced with nervous tension as the match progressed, especially when Spain took the lead just after half time through Nico Williams.
But Cole Palmer's equaliser on 73 minutes sparked wild scenes as supporters suddenly had hope that England could win their first major trophy since 1966.
However just as they were three years ago when Italy defeated England in the Euro final, fans were ultimately left disappointed as Mikel Oyarzabal grabbed the winner four minutes from time.
