- Story Text: Far-right demonstrators marched through central London on Saturday (July 27), waving flags and chanting ''we want our country back.''
The Uniting the Kingdom march was organised by Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon. He is a prominent British nationalist figure and founder of the English Defence League, which has in the past staged violent demonstrations against Islam.
A counter-protest organised by Stand Up To Racism, trade unions and other groups also marched though the centre of the British capital.
