- Story Text: The Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Taiwan, H. K. Yang, has been touring several African countries as the special envoy of Generalissimo Chiang Kai-Shek. From June 20 to 25 he was in the Ivory Coast - where our film shows him visiting an agricultural and grain research plantation at Dabou (about 50 kilometres/30 miles west of Abidjan) on Saturday (June 24). He was accompanied by Ivorien Foreign Minister Arsene Usher Assouan and Taiwan Ambassador to the Ivory Coast Bernard Joei.
There are 170 Chinese agricultural experts in the Ivory Coast - divided into 24 missions set up by Taiwan. Mr. Yang has been meeting with all of them during his stay.
