Some fly two times as they are part of tandem flights. This leaves us with about 6 hours of programme." The 1:3 ratio is the most popular so it's around 3 meters of wingspan, basically what we are seeing and hearing right now. It's very attractive to watch. Here the spectators are standing about 30 meters away from the runway. So if we multiply that by 3, it would be like watching a real aircraft from 90 meters away." It's a SABRE from Yugoslavia from 1961. Basically, it's a full scale with all the details, all the coins, all the hatches, everything is done just like in a real one. And the cockpit is basically fully functional." MODEL OF YUGOSLAVIA'S F-86 SABRE PLANE DUMMY PILOT INSIDE SABRE PLANE'S COCKPIT PLANE MODELS ON DISPLAY PLANE MODEL FLYING

- Story Text: The skies above the Slovenian town of Lesce were filled with remote-controlled (RC) aircrafts on Thursday (August 15) as modellers and pilots of RC planes gathered at the annual airshow.
Large model aircraft of all shapes and sizes attracted pilots and about 1,500 visitors from across the country and abroad, according to the organisers.
A variety of large-scale model aircraft was showcased at the event including a vintage F-86 Sabre plane from post-war Yugoslavia and a Futura plane, which was not based on any existing aircraft.
Matjaz Planinsek, the club's president and event organiser, said the models with a 1:3 ratio, translating to a wingspan of three metres, were the most popular at the show.
