  • Story Text:Residents carried bodies through the streets of the occupied West Bank city of Qabatiya on Friday (September 20) during a funeral procession for at least three Palestinians killed in an Israeli military raid a day earlier.
    The governor of Jenin told Reuters on Thursday (September 19) that six Palestinians were killed and 18 others injured in the raid.
    A seventh body was found later on Thursday.
    The governor, Kamal Abu al-Rub, said four of the injured were in critical condition, and that Israeli forces withdrew from Qabatiya after destroying infrastructure in the area.
    The Palestinian Ministry of Health said 716 people have been killed in the West Bank since the Gaza conflict between Israel and militant group Hamas erupted on October 7, 2023, with around 5,750 wounded.
