- Story Text: Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Republican Donald Trump's Indian real estate partner company, Tribeca Developers, said they will be expanding the Trump Tower projects across six cities in an interview on Friday (November 08).
Trump, who made a stunning political comeback four years after being voted out of the White House, has a worldwide chain of ultra-luxury branded towers that are high-rise residential buildings with office blocks, golf courses, hotels, and villas.
Mehta said they decided to build a second Trump Tower in western Mumbai, Pune, and northern Gurugram cities, as they plan to launch three new towers in Noida, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
The six new projects will have a combined area of more than 80 lakh square feet (08 million square feet) and a total sale value of Rs.15000 crores (150 billion USD), Mehta said.
"It is like living in a five-star hotel", he added.
Indian real estate developer, Abhinandan Lodha, who had built one of the earliest Trump Towers in India, in the financial capital of Mumbai, said that Trump was always confident about people buying their premium houses.
During his first term as president from 2017 to 2021, Trump warred with the South Asian nation over tariffs but shared a healthy relationship with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Trade ties between New Delhi and Washington have grown steadily over the last decade. The United States is India's top export destination, with goods and services exports of $120 billion in 2023. - Copyright Holder: ANI (India)
