  • Story Text: The Golden Globes officially kicked off the Hollywood awards season on Monday (December 9), with the announcement of the nominations for the 2025 Golden Globe awards for film and television and a preview of what guests can expect at the January 5 ceremony.
    The preview was led by world-renowned Japanese Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, who will provide dishes for the A-list celebrities for a second consecutive year. He was inspired by the delight his food brought to attendees at last year's show, he told Reuters.
    "I was watching how people eating, you know, then the plates come in front of the guest. So people said, "Oh wow." As kind of like the first reaction, it was nice. Then people start eating, smiling. You know, this is the best moment.”” he said.
    Along with the most recognizable plates from his famed restaurant, the guests will be able to enjoy a special Golden Globe sushi roll specifically made for the show, topped with caviar and gold leaves.
    Golden Globe winners will also walk away with a one-of-a-kind gift bag filled with a redeemable gift experience worth a whopping million dollars, something never done before in Golden Globe history, said Brooke Jaffe of Penske Media.
