The second half of 2025 will see new instalments in the "Jurassic World" and "Avatar" franchises, a new "Superman" movie as well as the second part of musical film adaptation "Wicked".
Below is a list of scheduled releases, broken down by month.
July:
"Jurassic World Rebirth" - The dinosaurs are back in the fourth instalment of the "Jurassic World" series, with a new cast including Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey.
The movie is set five years after the events of "Jurassic World Dominion", with Johansson's cover operations expert Zora Bennett sent on a secret mission to get genetic material from the world's three biggest dinosaurs, who are living in isolated environments.
"Superman" - The superhero is back with David Corenswet playing Clark Kent/Superman. Rachel Brosnahan portrays Lois Lane while Nicholas Hoult takes on the role of Lex Luther.
"The Smurfs Movie" - The little blue Smurfs are back in this animated music film based on Peyo's comic book series.
Hannah Waddingham, Octavia Spencer, Natasha Lyonne and Nick Offerman feature, with Rihanna voicing Smurfette.
"The Fantastic Four: First Steps" - A new cast of actors play the superhero team: Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.
In the movie, the team must protect Earth from cosmic Galactus and the Silver Surfer.
August:
"The Bad Guys 2" - The animated heist film sees the Bad Guys, led by Sam Rockwell's Mr. Wolf, return for more action. Now considered the Good Guys, the group are struggling in their new lives until they are pulled into "one last job".
"The Naked Gun" - The film is the latest instalment of "The Naked Gun" action comedy franchise. Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson lead the cast.
"Animal Friends" - The action comedy follows two animals who become friends. It features Ryan Reynolds, Jason Momoa, Vince Vaughn and Aubrey Plaza among it's cast.
"Thread: An Insidious Tale" - The supernatural horror film is a spin-off of the "Insidious" franchise. It stars Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani as a couple who go back in time to try to prevent their daughter's death.
September:
"Saw XI" - The film is the 11th instalment of the "Saw" horror series. Little is known about the storyline, but actor Tobin Bell is reportedly reprising his John Kramer/Jigsaw antagonist role from the 2023 "Saw X" movie, various media have said.
October:
"The Bride" - Jessie Buckley stars as Frankenstein's bride while Christian Bale is Frankenstein's monster in this musical monster film, directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Penelope Cruz, Peter Sarsgaard and Annette Bening also star in the movie, which is set in 1930s Chicago.
"Michael" - Jaafar Jackson portrays his late uncle, pop star Michael Jackson, in this musical biopic.
The movie follows Michael Jackson's career from the Jackson 5 to his last weeks before his 2009 death.
"Tron: Ares" - The sci-fi adventure movie sees program Ares go from the digital world into the real world on a mission.
The movie's cast includes Jodie Turner-Smith, Jeff Bridges, Gillian Anderson, Evan Peters and Jared Leto.
"The Black Phone 2" - The supernatural horror is a sequel to the 2021 film about an abducted teenager who uses a black phone to plot his escape. Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Jeremy Davies and Madeleine McGraw reprise their roles.
"Mortal Kombat 2" - The film is a sequel to the 2021 martial arts fantasy film, and the fourth in the "Mortal Kombat" film series.
It stars Karl Urban, Lewis Tan and Hiroyuki Sanada.
November:
"Predator: Badlands" - Elle Fanning stars in the latest instalment in the "Predator" series. The movie is set in the future on an alien planet, with director Dan Trachtenberg telling Empire "the creature is front and centre, leading the charge".
"Bugonia" - Two-time Oscar winner Emma Stone reunites with director Yorgos Lanthimos for this science fiction comedy, an English-language remake of the 2003 South Korean film "Save the Green Planet!", About two conspiracy theorists who kidnap a CEO in the belief she is an alien wanting to destroy Earth.
Jesse Plemons, who starred with Stone in 2024 Lanthimos movie "Kinds of Kindness", also stars.
"Now You See Me 3" - The magicians return in the third instalment of the "Now You See Me" heist franchise. Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Isla Fisher, Dave Franco, Mark Ruffalo and Morgan Freeman reprise their roles, as does Daniel Radcliffe. Rosamund Pike and Ariana Greenblatt join the cast.
"The Running Man" - Glen Powell and Josh Brolin star in this dystopian action thriller, based on the 1982 novel. Set in 2025, it sees competitors taking part in "The Running Man" game show try to evade murderous hunters to win money.
"Wicked: Part Two" - The movie is the second part in the film adaptation of the stage musical about how a misunderstood, green-skinned student of magic becomes the Wicked Witch of the West. Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reprise their respective roles as Elphaba and Glinda.
"Zootopia 2" - The animation sees detectives Judy Hopp and Nick Wilde return for a new case. Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman reprise their roles as rabbit Judy and fox Nick.
December:
"Five Nights at Freddy's 2" - The movie is the second instalment in the supernatural horror "Five Nights at Freddy's" film franchise, based on the video game series. Josh Hutcherson reprises his role as security guard Mick, who survived the horrors at the abandoned, once successful Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, in the first film. Matthew Lillard also stars.
"Avatar: Fire and Ash" - The third instalment in James Cameron's sci-fi epic "Avatar" series is the sequel to the 2022 box office smash "Avatar: The Way of Water". Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana reprise their roles as Jake and Neytiri, who in the last film joined the Metkayina clan.
"The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants" - The fourth animated adventure comedy film based on the "SpongeBob SquarePants" television series sees SpongeBob facing off against the Flying Dutchman. Tom Kenny once again voices SpongeBob.
Release date TBC:
'Warfare' - Joseph Quinn and Will Poulter star in the drama which is based on ex-Navy Seal Ray Mendoza's experiences during the Iraq war.
