- Story Text: A folk band dressed in Ukrainian traditional costumes sang Christmas carols on Wednesday (December 25) for Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing medical treatment in one of Kyiv's hospitals.
Soldiers with amputations enjoyed the performance staged for them in the hospital yard.
The band later sang Christmas carols inside a metro station.
On Christmas day, Russia attacked Ukraine's energy system and some cities with cruise and ballistic missiles plus drones an "inhuman" assault, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said.
Nearly three years into the war, the strikes wounded at least six people in the northeastern city of Kharkiv and killed one in the region of Dnipropetrovsk, the governors there said.
