- Story Text: Saudi Arabians watched their 2-2 World Cup draw with Tunisia on Wednesday (June 14) with mixed feelings.
Crowds watched TV in Riyadh, cheering wildly when their side equalised having gone behind and even more fervently when they took the lead.
But a late equaliser from Tunisia did no favours to either team in a group which contains Spain and Ukraine. Spain top the group having beaten Ukraine 4-0 earlier in the day.
"It wasn't the result we hoped for or expected. To be honest the Saudi team didn't perform as well as we would have liked," said one man.
"May Allah help us against Spain and Ukraine," said another. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
