- Story Text: U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel met Saudi Arabian National Guard Minister Prince Miteb bin Abdullah at the Pentagon on Friday (November 21).
Prince Miteb was greeted with a ceremonial welcome hosted by Hagel.
After the meeting, Prince Miteb spoke to reporters at a Washington hotel, saying additional foreign forces would help speed up the fight against Islamic State militants in Iraq and Syria.
"I think that if we are talking about the subject of Iraq I believe that the Iraqi army is capable of acting on this (Islamic State) but I think that if other forces were working with them (the Iraqi army) then the problem would be resolved faster. I believe the same can be said of Syria," Prince Miteb said, speaking to reporters at a Washington hotel about the U.S. -led fight against Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

Prince Miteb also commented on nuclear talks underway in Vienna.
