- Story Text: On the second day of his visit to Jordan, King Khalid of Saudi Arabia went to the front lines in the E1 Karameh area.
He was accompanied by King Hussein, Prince Hassan and members of the Saudi delegation.
At a front-line ceremony, King Khalid listened to a briefing of soldiers by one of the Commanders and was later given a Shield of the Arab Army as a memento of the visit.
During his three-day stay in Jordan, King Khalid discussed with King Hussein general Arab affairs and the strengthening of cooperation between their two countries.
King Khalid is accompanied on the visit by his Minister of Defence and Aviation, Prince Sultan Ibn Abdul-Aziz; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Minister of Information, Dr. Mohammed Abdo Yamani; and his private adviser, Dr. Rashad Faroun.

At a front-line ceremony, King Khalid listened to a Jordanian Army Commander briefing his men. The Commander later presented a shield of the Arab army to the Saudi monarch as a memento of the visit.
King Khalid is accompanied on the visit to Jordan by his Minister of Defence and Aviation, Prince Sultan Ibn Abdel-Aziz; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Saud Al-Faisal; Minister of Information, Dr. Mohammed Abdo Yamani; and his private adviser, DR. Rashad Faroun. During his three-day visit, he and King Hussein discussed general Arab affairs and the strengthening of cooperation between their two countries. At the end of his Jordanian stay, King Khalid will pay a three-day state visit to Damascus for talks with Syrian President Hafez-Al-Assad and Prime Minister Mahmoud Al-Ayoubi on Middle East developments.
