- Story Text: Spanish jet skier David Castellon won the first stage
of the breathtaking Corona Extra Jet Ski race, the Dakar of
the seas.
Around twenty international jet skiers have been
discovering Africa in an exciting and unusual way at the
second edition of the Corona Extra Jet Ski race, the Dakar of
the seas.
Unique in the world, this 15-day adventure by watercraft
covers more than 2000 kilometers of river and ocean through
Senegal, Mali and Mauritania.
The battle was intense between Belgian jet skiers Benoit
Doppagne and Etienne Jouret, David Castellon of Spain and
Phillipe Chesnel of France, winner of the first Jet race.
The Spanish competitor held the lead at the end of the
first week.Belgian jet skiers Etienne Jouret and Benoit
Doppagne came second and third.The challenge will finish on
December 5.
