British designer Alexander McQueen gave a stunning performance at his Spring 2010 fashion week show in Paris on Tuesday (October 6).
As usual, McQueen offered a real spectacle for the senses. Amazing special visual effects, remote controlled cameras created an underworld in which evolved alien-like jelly fish and surreal creatures.
A live webcast of the show was available on the Alexander McQueen website, confirming a trend by fashion houses to open their shows not just to the privileged few but demand was so high the site crashed.
Paco Rabanne once said Alexander McQueen was a "fashion hooligan" whose provocative designs had chased people away from Paris fashion but this time the audience seemed to be attracted to the show. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
