Protesters gathered outside the State Opera in central Vienna and burned their face masks showing anger at the measures against pandemic. They carried banners and chanted slogans against COVID-19 restrictions. Austria has confirmed an average of over 1,000 daily cases in the past week. The government has limited private events to a maximum of six people indoors and 12 outdoors. The protesters demanded all those restrictions be lifted. The country has so far reported over 83,000 virus cases, and nearly 1,000 deaths.
