- Story Text: During a brief stop-over in Paris, World Heavyweight Boxing Champion, Goerge Fereman spoke to newsmen at Orly Airport on Wednesday (11 September) about his forthcoming title fight against Muhammad Ali in Zairs.
Also at the press conference were Foreman's manager, Lerey Jackson, and Assistant Trainer Archie Moore -- himself a former light heavyweight champion. They had little to say during the questioning, but Foreman's large Alsatian dog, Dago, made his presence known when he obligingly put his front paws up on the table and barked into the microphones.
During the press conference, Foreman commented on the September 25 fight:
Even if he is defeated by Ali in Kinshasa, George Foreman is assured of a five-million dollar (about two million sterling) purse.
