VARIOUS OF GALLANT AND SOLDIERS WALKING INSIDE TUNNEL AAVN SCRIPT: The Israeli military said on Monday (Dec. 18) they discovered a tunnel over 4 kilometers long in the northern part of the besieged Gaza Strip. In a statement from the Israeli military, it was reported that the tunnel, alleged to be located in the northern Gaza Strip, reaches a depth of 50 meters at its deepest point. The tunnel, situated approximately 400 meters near the Beit Hanoun-Erez Border Crossing on the Gaza-Israel border, is described to have multiple branches and a complex network within itself. The statement indicated that the tunnel, equipped with sewage disposal, electricity, and communication lines, allegedly contained numerous war materials claimed to belong to Hamas. The announcement stated that attacks on Israeli soldiers were launched from this tunnel, although it did not extend all the way to Israel. As of now, there has been no statement from Hamas regarding the matter. Israel has bombarded the Gaza Strip from the air and land, imposed a siege, and mounted a ground offensive in retaliation for a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7. At least 19,453 Palestinians have since been killed and 52,286 injured in the Israeli onslaught, according to Gaza’s health authorities. The Israeli death toll in the Hamas attack stands at 1,200, while over 130 hostages are still being held by the Palestinian group in Gaza, according to official figures. Writing by Muharrem Gecer
