Footage shows thousands of passengers at bus terminals, train stations, and ferry docks trying to begin their journeys homeward. Some chose river routes along the Buriganga aboard ships, while others opted for land routes, boarding buses and trains. A time of family reunion for many people around the world, Eid al-Fitr celebrations mark the end of the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan. The opening day of the three-day Eid is set for Wednesday, April 10. Reported by Niamul Rifat // Writing by Elif Oren
