- Story Text: Nineteen people were killed when a lift crashed to the ground from the 30th floor of an apartment building under construction in the central Chinese city of Wuhan on Thursday (September 13) afternoon, state media reported.
The lift crash, which took place at 1326 local time (0526 GMT), killed all passengers on board, who were mostly construction workers, official agency Xinhua said, citing a city government spokesman.
