In the first attack, a drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced people west of Gaza City, killing one person and injuring another. A second strike targeted an apartment near the Al-Saraya junction in central Gaza City, resulting in the deaths of two people, including an elderly woman. In a third incident, an airstrike on a tent within Yarmouk Stadium — which shelters thousands of displaced families — killed three Palestinians and injured seven more. Israeli forces have carried out raids in multiple areas across the Gaza Strip in recent hours, leading to additional civilian casualties. The Israeli army renewed a deadly assault on Gaza on March 18, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. At least 51,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza in a brutal Israeli onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
