(September 20) The dressmaker of choice for the likes of Michelle Obama and the British Prime Minister's wife Samantha Cameron, his collection for Spring/Summer 2011 is likely to be seen on many famous women.
White chiffon with white applique and lace began the show, which was held in private gardens within a Georgian Square in Central London.
Colour crept in with Russian red showing up in the form of tiny flowers or a bright red lace dress. A dramatic floor length navy dress also came in lace.
Bright florals were a key theme. Dresses had nipped in waists and hemlines were fractionally a-line.
Backstage, Erdem told Reuters he was inspired by Russian ballet costumes.
