Summary:The assassination of Leon Trotsky was recreated in 1971 when director Joseph Losey and actor Richard Burton went with a film unit to Mexico City, where Trotsky was murdered in 1940. In the film, Burton played the part of the exiled Soviet leader and among the sets made for the film was a complete reconstruction of Trotsky's last home. NOTE: Date is approximate.
