I barely know what I'm wearing right now, I'm excited yes." KUNIS AND TIMBERLAKE POSING FOR PICTURES ON RED CARPET (SOUNDBITE) (English) MILA KUNIS, ACTOR, SAYING: "You saw my reaction, it's all over the internet. I mean I didn't know about it so I just found out about it when you found out about it with everybody else. I was flattered, I thought it was incredibly gutsy and I've never been asked out before, so it was kind of nice." ACTRESS JENNA ELFMAN SPEAKING TO REPORTER (SOUNDBITE) (English) JENNA ELFMAN, ACTOR, SAYING: "We had a great time, Justin, they're both very friendly and down to earth and welcoming, you know I had just had my second kid I was like so excited to be out of the house. We were filming at the beach, they had already been filming for like a month when I came on. So you know a dynamic gets formed on set and I'm like walking into it late and I have to instantly bring chemistry of playing his sister. And you don't know how that's going to go and it was awesome." DIRECTOR WILL GLUCK ON RED CARPET (SOUNDBITE) (English) WILL GLUCK, DIRECTOR, SAYING: "I'm not familiar with that movie, no, that movie is really good I saw it it's very good and I'm very happy for them. It's just a different movie, different people, the plot is different it's just two different movies that happen - for some reason be in the same vain. Although people say is that - it's weird that there's two movies that come out about this and I would argue, this is the tenth thousandth movie that came out about it. It's about a boy and a girl getting together and kind of weird stuff happens along the way, but yeah, they're different." - Story Text: The stars of the new movie "Friends With Benefits" hit the red carpet in New York to celebrate the film's world premiere.
The movie stars Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis as two characters who have recently gone through bad breakups. Using Hollywood romantic comedies as their guide, the pair decides to add the simple act of sex into their friendship thinking that there would be no way it could complicate their relationship. However, throughout the course of the movie emotions began to blur their 'sex' rules.
In the film, audiences will get an extra special view of Timberlake as his backside graces the big screen three times.
"We wanted the movie to be real and funny at the same time and I'm sorry but a boy running around with his butt out is funny. And I think we all know I put my body on the line for comedy," said Timberlake.
Although the movie fits into the romantic comedy bucket, Kunis said it's not just for girls.
"It's a movie that I would go see, but he would go see. I like how I answer for him now - I'm like, he'd go see this movie," Kunis told Reuters.
In January a film with a similar plot named "No Strings Attached" was released. The film which starred Ashton Kutcher and Natalie Portman was originally called "Friends With Benefits" but changed to avoid confusion with Timberlake's and Kunis' film. The film's director, Will Gluck, said the names of the movie are the only similarities.
"It's just a different movie, different people, the plots different it's just two different movies that happen for some reason be in the same vain. Although people say it's weird that there's two movies that come out about this and I would argue, this is the tenth thousandth movie that came out about it. It's about a boy and a girl getting together and kind of weird stuff happens along the way, but yeah, they're different," Gluck explained to Reuters.
Almost overshadowing the films premiere are Timberlake's and Kunis' internet video invitations to two separate Marine Corps balls by total strangers. Kunis said she is excited to be attending the ball.
"You saw my reaction, it's all over the internet. I mean I didn't know about it so I just found out about it when you found out about it with everybody else. I was flattered, I thought it was incredibly gutsy and I've never been asked out before, so it was kind of nice," said Kunis.
