  • Story Text: Family and friends of James Gandolfini visited a Rome morgue on Friday (June 21) where the actor's body is being held following his death on Wednesday (June 19).
    The visit came after a hospital source said an autopsy on Friday morning had confirmed the Sopranos star died of a heart attack.
    The hospital source who asked not to be identified said the autopsy on the body of Gandolfini confirmed his death in a Rome hotel was the result of "natural causes, a heart attack".
    Among those visiting the morgue were Gandolfini's sister Johanna Antonacci, as well as his friend Michael Kobald who arrived separately.
    Kobald is due to hold a news conference at the hotel where the Sopranos star suffered the heart attack later on Friday afternoon.
