- Story Text: Blows were exchanged during the second half of the soccer match between Manchester United and Arsenal in Manchester today (Saturday). Manchester United captain Denis Law and Arsenal centre-half Ian Ure were sent off after they clashed for the second time in the match.
Punches were thrown before the two men were separated and sent off.
The match itself began in London team Arsenal's favour, and for half an hour Manchester United were left in a dangerous position. But then United players found form and began to attack the Arsenal defence.
At the end of the first half it was a scoreless game, but in the 76th minute United snatched the lead. The London team could not redress the balance. Score: 1-0.
