Summary:Archie Moore, world light-heavy-weight champion for ten years until 1962, was one of the great figures of the boxing ring. In 1977, he was still in the business - in Nigeria, where he was assistant national coach. His job was to spot future champions - and he went out looking for them in the streets of Lagos. A superb boxer and always a sportsman, Archie Moore was still giving something to the sport he once graced. NOTE: Date is approximate.
