Summary:Cuba was host to the non-aligned movement in September; and one of the dominant figures was President Tito of Yugoslavia. Marshal Tito, now 87, had gone there to fight for his conception of non-alignment; independence of Soviet as well as Western policies. When President Castro said goodbye to his guest after the conference, President Tito had the satisfaction of a firm restatement of the movement's independence in the final declaration.
