Summary:Militant opponents of South African apartheid demonstrating in New Zealand. Their target was the Springboks Rugby touring team. They had made determined efforts to prevent the tour from taking place at all. When they failed to achieve that, they set out to disrupt every match. Inside the ground, at Wellington, play went on without serious interruption. All three Test matches were played.
