Summary:On July 20 the Provisional IRA made two bomb attacks on the British Army in London. 2 members of the Household Cavalry were killed when a car bomb exploded in Hyde Park. 13 other soldiers were wounded and 7 horses had to be destroyed after the attack. The second incident was in Regents Park where a bomb was planted under the bandstand. 6 members of the Royal Green-jacket regiment were killed & many injured.
