- Story Text: Four foreign men were arrested at the Thai seaside resort of Pattaya on drug trafficking charges on Monday (July 17).
Two Britons, a Belgian and a South African, were arrested over the weekend at a resort hotel when police searched their rooms and said they found a total of 1.7 kg (3.8 pounds) of hashish.
Police identified the four suspects as Rudy Styuck, from Antwerp, Britons Steven Fountain from Leeds and Stephen O'Hara from Stockport, and Justin Burls, from South Africa.
The four appeared at a Bangkok news conference on Monday but declined to answer reporters' questions. They face prison terms of up to five years for hashish trafficking, police said.
