Summary:On July 6 a Palestinian shouting 'Allahu Akbar' (God is Great) killed 16 people, most of them Israelis, when he grabbed the steering wheel of a civilian bus and sent it plunging off the road. The bus was forced off the Tel Aviv-Jerusalem highway into a ravine where it burst into flames. 5 American tourists were among the injured in the crash which was the bloodiest single incident in the uprising so far.
