- Story Text: Peter Andre took his place in music history on Tuesday (August 19) when his hand print was placed side by side with casts from artists like Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton and Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber on the Rock Circus' "Wall of Hands".
Andre's career has gone from strength to strength since his first British hit single "Only One" last year. His second hit "Mysterious Girl" won him a platinum disc and his album "Natural" went to number one in the British Charts.
Andre - who is nicknamed "Six-Pack" because of his well honed abdominal muscles - has hit the charts yet again with his current single "All About Us", which has already entered the top ten in Britain, Denmark and Holland. He is now working on an album to be released in November featuring guest appearances from artists including Coolio and The Fugees.
24 year-old Andre was born in Harrow in the United Kingdom but his family emigrated to Australia when he was ten years old. By the time he was a teenager he had notched up three Australian Music Awards. He then headed back to Britain to launch his assault on the music charts in his homeland.
Now he is working on new recording and distribution deals to spread "Six Pack" mania to the United States and the rest of the world. - Copyright Holder: REUTERS
