- Story Text: World Cup finalists Jamaica have finished their mini-tour of Britain in disappointing style with a 0-0 draw against relegated English first division side Manchester City.
The goalless draw on Wednesday (May 6) was Jamaica's second in a row during the tour.
Rene Simoes' side wasted a number of good chances to make a breakthrough and cheer up the thousands of their Manchester-based supporters in stands with a goal.
Striker Paul Hall, of English Division One club Portsmouth, carved out the best openings in the first half, first blasting straight at City goalkeeper Nicky Weaver and then hitting the side-netting when through one-on-one.
But Weaver, a Manchester City reserve all this season, was forced into a string of fine saves, while the City striker Paul Dickov shot into the arms of Jamaica keeper Aaron Lawrence from close range midway through the first period.
The "Reggae Boyz", who face Argentina, Japan and Croatia in France next month, beat Queens Park Rangers 2-1 and drew 0-0 with Wales in their earlier games in Britain.
