- Story Text: United Nations Human Rights Commissioner Mary Robinson
has arrived in Pristina to judge for herself the latest human
rights issues in Kosovo.
Robinson's visit to Pristina coincides with the return
of four U.N.human rights monitors.
On Mrs Robinson's arrival she told the waiting press that
she would inform herself of the human rights issues on the
ground and would then see to the issues of protection and safe
return of Kosovar Albanians, also the protection of the Serb
population.
The UN Commissioner was due to have a meeting later with
General Sir Michael Jackson and then visit a mass grave at
Zlatari.
Mrs Robinson told waiting journalists on her arrival she
would be giving a news conference later.
