Story Text: THE IDEMITSU MARU, THE WORLD'S LARGEST OIL TANKER, RECEIVED HER FINAL CHECK YESTERDAY (TUESDAY) AT THE YOKOHAMA SHIPYARD WHERE SHE WAS BUILT. THE 210,000-TON VESSEL IS SCHEDULED TO MAKE HER MAIDEN VOYAGE - TO KUWAIT - ON MONDAY, 12 DECEMBER.
THE TANKER WILL HAVE A CREW OF 32. MOST OF HER CONTROLS ARE AUTOMATIC. THE VERDICT AFTER YESTERDAY'S CHECK: EVERYTHING IN PERFECT ORDER.
