- Story Text: An explosion in an ethnic Albanian-owned food shop in
the centre of the Kosovo capital Pristina on Saturday has
killed three people.
The dead included a woman and child.Several people
were also injured, police sources said.
The explosion came as ethnic Albanian and Serbian
authorities opened talks in France on the future of the
restive Serbian province.
The blast follows a spate of attacks with hand grenades,
the last one a week ago, on Serb and Albanian-owned cafes and
restaurants in Pristina.
That outbreak appeared to have been sparked by the killing
of 24 ethnic Albanians by Serbian security forces after one of
their colleagues was shot dead.
