Summary:Rescue workers on November 4 pulled 40 more bodies from the charred remains of buildings in the devastated Egyptian village of Dronka, centre of a fire and flood disaster in which more than 560 people died. President Hosni Mubarak, who met refugees in the stricken district but did not enter Dronka itself where hundreds died after a fuel depot exploded during a thunderstorm, promised the village would be rebuilt.
