Summary:At least eight Rwandan refugees were crushed to death on April 19 1995, in a stampede sparked when Rwanda government troops sealed off their camp. Soldiers of the Rwandan Patriotic Army (RPA) cordoned off Kibeho camp in the south-west and fired into the air, causing tens of thousand s ofpeople to flee in panic.
