Summary:Carl Bildt - UN Representative to Bosnia - told a news conference in Tokyo the Bosnian Serbs had made significant progress in releasing prisoners they hold, the issue that has threatened their participation in the Bosnian Reconstruction Conference to be held in Brussels. Organisers had threatened to cancel the meeting unless all the remaining Bosnian prisoners of war held by the three warring factions (Moslems, Croats and Serbs) were released. Bosnian Serb vice-president Biljana Plavsic on Sunday visited a Serb Orthodox cemetery in the west Bosnian town of Mrkonjic Grad, where a team of pathologists were identifying bodies exhumed from an alleged mass grave. The team, led by Zoran Stankovic have so far identified 104 out of 181 bodies exhumed. The bodies are said to be those of Bosnian-Serb soldiers and civilians.
