- Story Text: Fifteen years after he first set foot on American soil in the blockbuster hit comedy "Crocodile Dundee," Paul Hogan is back in Hollywood, literally. He and his real life wife and co-star Linda Kozlowski attended the World Premiere of "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles" earlier this week.
Fifteen years after famed crocodile hunter Mick Dundee first came to America in the 1986 blockbuster film "Crocodile Dundee," Paul Hogan has resurrected the character for a third film in the series, this one called "Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles."
The movie shows what happens when Dundee's girlfriend Sue, played again by Hogan's real-life wife Linda Kozlowski, is temporarily assigned to the Los Angeles bureau of her father's newspaper.
Dundee and his young son Mikey tag along for the adventure, and soon find themselves in all sorts of trouble, from a tangle with an animatronic Anaconda, to an eight lane freeway pileup precipitated by a frightened rodent.
Hogan drew the inspiration for this latest installment in the Dundee saga from his time spent in Los Angeles. In fact, several of the characters and situations are drawn directly from his own experiences living in the City of Angels.
"Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles" opens in theaters throughout the United States on Friday, April 20.
