Hapoel of Tel Aviv beat Banco Roma 92-82 in the Korac Cup quarter final match at Ussishkin stadium in Tel Aviv on December 4. It was a close match in which the lead changed hands 13 times. The home side only led 83-82 with one minute and forty seconds left to go. However, a late burst took them to a ten point victory over Banco Roma. The top scorers for Hapoel were Mike Largee with 25 points, A Williams with 19 and Lavone Mercer on 14. Banco Roma's top scorer was Leo Rautin with 22 points.
