- Story Text: Mr. Li Kwoh-ting, the Finance Minister of the Taiwan Kuomintang regime, headed a group of civil advisors and experts which arrived in Amman on Thursday (1 March).
The group was welcomed to Jordan by the country's finance minister, Mr. Ferid el-Saad.
The party from Taiwan was divided into two categories - advisors and experts. The advisors specialist in the fields of general economic planing, capital mobilisation, industry, agriculture, transport and public building. One of the men in this group is Mr. Dawood C.M. Ting the Minister Plenipotentiary from the Foreign Ministry of the Kuomintang regime.
The experts cover the fields of textiles, chemistry, glass, plastic end food processing.
SYNOPSIS: The Finance Minister from the Kuomintang regime in Taiwan, Mr. Li Kwoh-ting, arrived in Amman on Thursday with a party of his experts and advisors. They were met by Jordan's Finance Minister, Mr. Farid El-Saad.
The party from Taiwan includes Mr. Dawood C.M. Ting, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Foreign Ministry, The advisors cover the fields of general economic planning, capital mobilisation, industry, agriculture, transport and public building.
They are accompanied by experts in the fields of textiles, chemistry, glass, plastic and food processing.
Just how long the part from the Kuomintang Regime were staying in Jordan has not been made clear. However, the Kuomintang Embassy in Amman said all the men were leading experts in their country's economic fields.
