Title:USA: Some Of The World's Most Powerful Women In Bid To End Human Trafficking
Date:24th September 1999
Summary:Some of the most powerful women in the world have joined forces in a bid to end human trafficking. Women and children often end up either as prostitutes or house slaves controled, by pimps and unscrupulous businessmen in an illegal trade that is difficult to police. A special dinner was held at New York's Museum of Modern Art where the women called on the United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan to end the trade in human trafficking.
